Out of all the races I’ve done, by far, this was the best I’ve felt during a race. Yes, it was only 13 miles, but considering I didn’t do much/hardly any training leading up to this event, I was quite happy with my performance.

To top it off, with this finish I completed the California Dreamin’ Series(Long Beach, Huntington Beach & San Francisco races). By far the best medal I’ve received. I felt like a rapper with a huge gold chain hanging around my neck. I was damn proud of it too. 

Successful weekend, would love to do this race again, but we’ll see about that. San Francisco, thanks for being kind to me this weekend. Till next time…
